Located in Strafford, New Hampshire, Learning Structures is a highly skilled team of professionals who work with schools, community groups, churches and municipalities to create custom-designed, community-built playgrounds. To date, we've worked with more than 1500 communities and 100,000 volunteers to create beautiful and unique, playgrounds all around the world.
Since 1972, our clients have told us that what distinguishes Learning Structures from other high-quality architects and playground manufacturers is our process – the unique approach fully engages the entire community – from the kids who help design the structures, to the parents and community members who make the structures come to life, the process is unlike any other. In addition, Learning Structures offers flexibility and willingness to seek and serve the unique needs of each community we work with.
Learning Structures’ award-winning playgrounds provide communities with a lasting, commemorative of their uniting, volunteer effort and our business has grown largely on the basis of repeat business and "word of mouth". Once neighboring communities see what can be achieved, they call us for their own playground
From Planning to Play, we offer you more playground for your budget, use your children's ideas to create a meaningful play environment, and unite your community in the positive celebration of play. Learning Structures will provide you with every planning detail you need to succeed and our team of professionals will be working beside you every step of the way.
Our playgrounds follow all US CPSC and ASTM playground safety guidelines, and provide far greater handicapped accessibility of manufactured playgrounds, at one half the cost.
